Please read these terms carefully before purchasing a revision package. By purchasing a package or subscription, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1.1 These terms form a contract between [MB Verdant] Ltd ("we", "us", "our") and the person purchasing a revision package ("you", "the Client").
1.2 Where the student receiving coaching is under 18, the contract is made with the student's parent or legal guardian, who confirms they have authority to agree to these terms on the student's behalf.
2.1 We provide online revision coaching, offered as:
2.2 Packages are tailored based on information provided by the Client about the student's specification, exam board, target grade, and learning needs. The accuracy of the coaching provided depends on the accuracy of this information.
2.3 We do not guarantee specific exam grades or outcomes. Coaching supports revision; it does not replace the student's own study, school teaching, or exam preparation more broadly.
2.4 A contract will be issued with all subscription packages.
3.1 Bespoke packages are paid in full at the time of purchase.
3.2 Subscription coaching is billed [weekly/monthly] in advance and continues automatically until cancelled in accordance with Section 5.
3.3 All prices are shown in GBP and include/exclude VAT as applicable [confirm VAT status].
3.4 We reserve the right to change prices for future purchases; changes will not affect a package or subscription period already paid for.
4.1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, and receive a full refund.
4.2 If you would like coaching to begin before the 14-day period has ended, you must give us explicit consent to do so. In that case:
4.3 This cooling-off right does not apply to subscription renewals after the first 14 days, or to individual sessions booked within an ongoing subscription.
5.1 Bespoke packages: Unused sessions may be cancelled for a pro-rata refund of the package price, less a 10% administrative fee. Sessions already delivered are non-refundable.
5.2 Subscription coaching: You may cancel at any time by giving at least 7 days' notice before your next billing date. No refund is given for the current billing period, but no further payments will be taken once cancellation is confirmed.
5.3 We recommend this pro-rata approach as a fair middle ground between "no refunds" (which can feel punitive for a bespoke, prepaid service) and full refunds regardless of sessions delivered (which doesn't reflect coaching already provided). You may prefer a different balance — for example, a flat cancellation fee instead of a percentage — and this section should be adjusted to match your actual policy before publishing.
5.4 Single subject packages are non refundable once delivered.
6.1 Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to tutor availability.
6.2 Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, will be treated as delivered and are non-refundable, except where the student is unable to attend due to illness or another reasonable cause communicated as soon as practicable.
6.3 If we need to cancel or reschedule a session (for example, due to tutor illness), we will offer an alternative time at no additional cost, or a credit toward a future session.
7.1 Where sessions involve a student under 18, we take safeguarding seriously. All tutors will hold an enhanced DBS and be registered on the DBS Update service. All tutors will be L2 safeguarding trained. Session's will not be recorded without the prior agreement of the client. Any safeguarding concerns should be raised in the first instance by emailing safeguarding@revisiontrain.co.uk.
7.2 A parent or guardian should be contactable and, where practicable, aware of session times for students under 18.
7.3 All contact between student and revision train will be via official revision train channels.
7.4 Tutors will never contact a parent or student from a private email address. Any instance of this should be reported to safeguarding@revisiontrain.co.uk immediately.
8.1 All bespoke materials, resources, and session content created for the Client remain the intellectual property of [Company Name] Ltd, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8.2 Materials are provided for the personal revision use of the named student only and may not be redistributed, resold, or shared publicly (including on social media or file-sharing platforms) without our written permission.
9.1 We process personal data (including the student's name, contact details, and information about their learning needs) in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
9.2 We collect only the information needed to deliver coaching effectively and do not share it with third parties except where required to deliver the service (e.g., payment processing) or by law.
9.3 Full details are set out in our separate Privacy Policy.
10.1 We provide coaching with reasonable care and skill but cannot guarantee specific results, including exam grades.
10.2 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.
10.3 Subject to clause 10.2, our total liability to you in connection with a package or subscription is limited to the amount paid for that package or subscription period.
11.1 If you're unhappy with any aspect of the service, please contact us at [complaints email] in the first instance. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 7 working days and resolve them within 28 working days.
12.1 We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will apply to new purchases from the date of update and will not affect packages already in progress.
13.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
